Named for our country’s founding fathers, Taconic Distillery’s Founder’s Rye Whiskey is aged in virgin American white oak barrels to a golden caramel color. Rye lovers will appreciate its bold, spicy flavor with a mildly sweet finish. Delicious in cocktails and decidedly smooth when sipped neat or on the rocks.

To make this whiskey, Taconic empties barrels that previously aged bourbon made at their distillery. They then get sent to Catskill Mountain Sugarhouse where the barrels are filled with maple syrup. After a few months of aging, the syrup is bottled. The casks are then refilled with bourbon for another few months.

Winter wheat and glacial water is double distilled using quartz and activated charcoal filtration. Herbal and licorice flavors linger with light smoke and a touch of fruit. Best chilled and straight or in tonic.

Made to a traditional London Dry Style in flavour profile and dryness, this gin uses a mix of ultra traditional distilling methods allied to Martin's own iconoclastic 'take' on gin distilling. In a break with tradition, there are two separate distillations for the juniper and earthier botanicals that are later 'married' or blended with a second separate distillation of the citrus elements of bitter orange peel from Seville, lemon and lime peel.
